Convert a fraudulent transaction to rewardable

By default, Partnero marks a transaction as fraudulent if the referral's and affiliate partner's (or customer's) email addresses match. You can read more about transaction and protection settings here.

As the program owner, you can allow self-referring sales or mark fraudulent transactions as rewardable after they have happened. Converting the transaction to rewardable will generate a reward for the affiliate partner.

To convert a fraudulent transaction to rewardable:

1. Go to Customers and find the customer using their name or email:
2. Click to view their profile and scroll down to Transaction history. Click Actions next to the fraudulent transaction:
3. Click Convert to rewardable:

That's it! The transaction is now converted to rewardable, and the reward is generated to the referring affiliate partner.
