Allow partners to create customers manually
Partnero offers a feature allowing your partners to manually create customers from their partner portals. This can be useful if, for example, the partner forgot to share their link or the customer forgot to use it when signing up.
This setting can be enabled for each partner individually or on a program level. We recommend enabling it only for trusted, close-relationship partners.
Allow a specific partner to create customers manually
Here's how you can enable this setting:
- Find the partner in your partner list using their name or email:
- Open their profile. Click on the three dots in the top right corner and click Manage:
- In the modal, toggle the option to Allow creating customers from portal:
- Click Update.

Once the setting is enabled, your partner will have the option to Create referral in the partner portal, the Referrals tab:
When partner clicks on the Create referral option, they will be able to provide the new customer's name, last name, and email:
Enable the setting on the program level
If you wish to allow all your partners to create customers manually:
- Go to Partner portal under Affiliate. You'll land on the Settings tab, the General section:
- Scroll down to the Partner experience section and toggle the option to Enable partners to create customers:
- Click Update to save your changes.
