Every program email explained

Program email types

There are two types of emails sent to your partners:
  1. Transactional: these emails are non-promotional and contain important updates about account activity. Transactional emails are triggered by specific events and can’t be disabled, e.g., password reset emails.
  2. Notifications: these emails are non-essential and are not sent by default. You can enable such emails through Program settings. If you do enable email notifications, each partner will still have to agree to receive them.
Let’s go through each email individually.

Transactional emails
  

Password reset Sent when a partner requests a password reset for their partner portal.
Partner approved If you have approvals for new partners enabled, this email is sent when a new partner is approved. Read more about approvals.
Partner disapproved If you have approvals for new partners enabled, this email is sent when a new partner is declined. Read more about approvals.
Payout request approved If you do not automatically approve payout requests, this email is sent when a payout request is manually approved.
Payout request declined If you do not automatically approve payout requests, this email is sent when a payout request is manually declined.
Payout sent Sent when a payout request is marked as “Payout sent.” Read more about managing payouts.
Payout resubmit required Sent when a payout request is marked “Request resubmit”. The resubmission reason is automatically included in the email.
Update regarding your referral Sent when a specific referral is deleted manually by the program owner (e.g. for a violation of program terms).
You have been invited Sent when a partner is invited to join the program. Read more about inviting partners.

Notification emails
  

You got a sign-up Sent when a partner generates a new referral signup.
You got a sale Sent when one of the partner’s existing referrals makes a purchase, generating a commission.
Payout request confirmation Sent when a partner submits a new payout request.

How to enable marketing emails
  

To enable marketing emails:
  1. Go to Settings under Program.
  2. Scroll down to Other.
  3. Toggle “Enable email notifications for partners”:
  4. Click Update.

Once the email notifications are enabled, each partner will see the following options on their partner portal, My profile page:
