Customize the Partner portal

What is a Partner portal?

Partner portal is a website dedicated to program partners (affiliates), hosted on a custom URL link. Partner portal is individual for each program and is customized by the program owner. 
Each partner sees a unique portal version that contains their information only. Partners can log in to track their performance and access their affiliate links, resources, referral data and reporting.


To access Partner portal appearance settings:
  1. Log in to Partnero.
  2. Navigate to Programs and choose the program you’d like to work with. 
  3. On the left sidebar, click on Preferences under Partner portal.
  4. You will land on the Appearance tab:
  5. Here, you can apply the following settings to your Partner portal:

    Branding: upload your logo and favicon, select the font family and brand color.

    Layout & Navigation: choose the layout type and style (e.g., sidebar menu with a border), navigation color and links, and the style for icons and corners.

    Default style: choose the colors for the background, buttons, text, and links.
  6. Click Update to save the changes.
Tip! While editing the settings, have your Partner portal open in a separate tab. Every time you click Update, refresh the Partner portal to see the changes reflected immediately. Explore all options and find what you like!

How to upload your logo

  1. Under the Appearance tab, navigate to Branding section.
  2. Click the upload sign next to the Logo section:
  3. Select the file and upload it.
  4. Click Update at the bottom right corner to save your changes.

How to change the Partner portal layout

  1. Under PreferencesAppearance navigate to the Layout section.
  2. Choose the layout style you prefer. Here are some examples of how the different layouts look like:

How to style the Navigation menu

Under Appearance > Layout, navigate to the Layout and Navigation sections:

1. Icons - select the icon type for your navigation menu:

Outline Bald None

2.  Navigation background - we will use your main brand color for the navigation menu. However, you can change it to black, gray, or white.

3.   Navigation style - select how the currently open page should be highlighted:


Here you can further customize signup, login, and other pages visible to your partners. To access Pages:
  1. Navigate to Programs and choose the program you’d like to work with. 
  2. On the left sidebar, click on Preferences under Partner portal.
  3. Click on Pages:

Here you’ll be able to edit the following pages:

  • Login - add title and description for existing partners logging in to the portal; upload your image and choose the layout.
  • Signup - welcome new partners with a registration heading and choose the layout and images. Additionally, you will be able to:
    • choose what information you ask to provide upon registration;
    • link to your program’s Terms of Use;
    • enter text for collecting marketing permissions.
  • Dashboard - select the blocks your partners will see when they log in. Add content, links, or text.
  • Approval - create a custom approval form that partners will see after registering. Add a welcome message, submission, and rejection messages, and add questions you’d like the partners to answer.
    Note: You’ll have to enable approvals under Program > Settings > Other for this form to be live. Read more about approvals.
  • Onboarding - draft a welcome message for new approved partners to welcome them to your program. Read more about onboarding.

Don’t forget to click Update after you make any changes!


Under the Translations tab, you can change all texts visible in the partner portal, e.g. use a different language or change the text itself. Here you will find the list of all available texts and a field next to each to type in your version.


You'll find two tabs here:

  • SEO settings;
  • Custom.

SEO settings

Here you can optimize your partner portal for search engines. To find your SEO settings:

You can enter the following information:

  • SEO - enter the page title, keyword, and page description.
  • Trackers - enter your Google Analytics code to track the partner activity.
  • Click Update.


The custom tab allows you to:

  • insert custom code to the partner portal:
  • Add a contact email address and a phone number (optional) that your partners can use to reach out to you:
    If provided, we'll display the information on the partner portal:
  • In the Other section you can select to hide referrals' contact information on the partner portal. If enabled, only you, as a program owner, will be able to see the referrals' contact information:Additionally, you can enable Partnero branding on your portal. If you do, the branding on the portal will be generated with a unique link assigned to you. If anyone signs up and purchases a Partnero plan through that link, you'll get a commission!
