Customize the Partner portal

What is a Partner portal?

Partner portal is a website dedicated to program partners (affiliates), hosted on a custom URL link. The partner portal can be customized for each program.
Upon login, partners can track their performance and access their affiliate links, resources, referral data, and reporting.

What pages can be customized?

Three main parts can be designed and customized with Partnero:
  • Partner dashboard: your partners see this when they login to the partner portal.
  • Public pages: this includes login and signup pages for your partner portal.
  • Program page: this program introduction page can be used to promote your affiliate program. It also can be used to access signup and login pages.

Customize the appearance

To access Partner portal appearance settings:
  1. Log in to Partnero.
  2. Navigate to Programs and choose the program you’d like to work with. 
  3. On the left sidebar, click on Partner Portal under Affiliate.
  4. You will land on the Appearance tab:Here, you can apply global and appearance settings for your Partner dashboard and Public pages.

Global

  • Branding: here, upload your logo, symbol, and favicon. Choose the font color and the primary brand color.
  • Behavior settings define the user experience of the Partner Portal:
    Default page option allows you to select what page your partner portal URL should lead to - login or program introduction.

    Additionally, you can enable Partnero branding on your portal. If you do, the branding on the portal will be generated with a unique link assigned to you. If anyone signs up and purchases a Partnero plan through that link, you'll get a commission!

Partner Dashboard

Here, you can set the colors, layout, and navigation style for the partner dashboard:

Public pages

Set the colors and content style for public pages (signup, login, and program page).

How to upload your logo

  1. Under the Appearance tab, navigate to Global section.
  2. Click the upload sign next to the Logo section:
  3. Select the file and upload it.
  4. Click Update at the bottom right corner to save your changes.

How to change the Partner portal layout

  1. Under Partner portal > Appearance, navigate to the Partner dashboard > Layout section:
  2. Choose the layout style you prefer. Here are some examples of how the different layouts look like:

    Modern:
    Casual:
    Sidebar:
  3. Click Update to save your changes.

How to style the Navigation menu

Under Partner portal > Appearance, navigate to the Partner dashboard > Navigation section:

Here you'll find two sections:

1.  Navigation background - we will use your main brand color for the navigation menu. However, you can change it to black, gray, or white.

2.  Navigation style - select how the currently open page should be highlighted:

Customize content

The Content tab allows you to customize the content for your Partner Dashboard and Public pages.

Resources

The resources tab allows you to upload various marketing materials that your partners can access when they log into the partner portal.

Translations

By default, all partner portal content will be displayed in English. However, you can manually change the content to a different language or wording or utilize predefined translations available through Partnero.

Settings

You'll find two tabs here: SEO settings & Custom.

SEO settings

Here you can optimize your partner portal for search engines.

You can enter the page title, keyword, and page description.
Additionally, you can enter your Google Analytics code to track the partner activity.

Custom

Here you can:

  • insert custom code to the partner portal:
  • Add a contact email address and a phone number (optional) that your partners can use to reach out to you. If provided, we'll display the information on the partner portal.
  • Opt to hide referred customers' data. If enabled, your partners will not see referrals contact information on the Partner portal:
